Our Disney Day

Cameron decided that he wanted to go back to Epcot while he was here so that he could catch the food at the Flower & Garden Festival one more time before it ended the last week of May.  We were all excited to go, but no one wanted to get up for rope drop.  Thus, we left at 9:30 this morning in order to make it there for lunch.

Our first stop at the park was Cool Connections so that Doug could try his new "favorite" soda - Beverly.  Just like Cal, Cameron was not that impressed.  I stuck with Cucumber Sprite and was happy as always.  We picked "Brunchcot" for a late breakfast.  The cinnamon bites and avocado toast were excellent.  From there we headed to Mexico, not for food, but to ride Gran Fiesta Tour.  There had been a long line last weekend.  This time it was quite a bit shorter.  The margarita line was twice as long, however.  We were all glad that we weren't waiting in that.

Once we finished the Donald Duck ride, we spent the next few hours walking through the countries trying various foods including the cheesy wontons in China and the orange blossom cake in Morocco.  We checked out the annual passholder lounge as well.  Although it wasn't that impressive, it was nice to get a break from the heat.  We also made time to ride Remy and buy a Welsh Dragon in England before heading to Test Track.  Thankfully, we were able to make it to Figment and Soarin' before our DAS pass ran out.  All of us were exhausted by 4 p.m. but still found time to try a few more food items and buy a souvenir before we left for miniature golf at Blizzard Beach.  Doug got the better of us and I had to work to tie him.  Cameron felt a part at some point and ended up losing by two.  Either way, it was a great way to end our Disney Day.
