Cal turned 26 today and although Doug and I were't able to spend the day with him, we did get to talk to him and wish him a very Happy Birthday. We were very glad to hear that he had gone golfing with his friends yesterday and was going out to dinner with Maggie tonight to celebrate. We made plans to see him on Monday night when we were in Chicago after he gets back from a wedding in St. Louis. Although I had already given him his birthday money through Venmo, I am very excited to see him and have a fun present ready for him to open. Cal's only complaint about his birthday was that he now had to be on his own medical insurance.
Cal had enjoyed a lot of successes this year including his relationship with Maggie and his career at Plante Moran. He had also had a couple of setbacks that made life challenging for him. Through it all, he has remained positive and we are very proud of how hard he has worked this year to overcome any roadblocks that he has encountered. Our wish for him is a happy, healthy year twenty-six.
