Meg wanted to spend her last day in Florida at Disney Springs. I was a little worried about the heat, but we did pretty well with it. We ate dinner outside at Splitsville before walking through several shops. I didn't find anything, but Meg bought a new phone case and Cameron got a great deal on a shirt. We had about an hour left before we had to leave for the airport. Meg suggested that we hang out at Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar on the pier. Doug was happy with that as it has become one of his favorite places to visit at Disney Springs. It was a nice relaxing time and a great way to celebrate spending the week with Meg in Florida.
Meg's week in Florida wasn't just about vacationing, celebrating Doug's birthday and hanging out with family. She also used the time to finish up some important last minute plans for the wedding. She ordered her seating chart, picked out a veil, and made some final arrangements with vendors. I enjoyed listening to her plans and looking through the pictures of the centerpieces. Meg and Nick have worked very hard to plan their wedding and we are all really looking forward to it. All along I have been telling them that it's not about the wedding, but the marriage. That's the best part. Soon, they will be planning life events instead of just one day.
