Celebrating in Disney

Meg and Nick left for Disney on Tuesday night for a week of celebrating their college graduations and engagement.  They had been talking about their trip for months and I was glad that they were able to go.  Meg called and texted several times while they have been there to let me know how much fun they have been having.  The first night they stayed at Port Orleans Riverside, which has definitely become our family's favorite moderate resort as of late.  They then changed to Caribbean Beach for the rest of their time at Disney so that they would have access to the sky liner.  They have enjoyed that resort as well, especially the pirate themed pool.

Meg told me that this trip feels like one that we took when the Heinisch children were younger.  She and Nick have gone to Epcot several times to try the Flower & Garden Show food booths while riding their favorite rides.  They have visited Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood studios as well.  They have watched the firework shows, gotten stuck on Pirates of the Caribbean, rode the new roller coasters - Tron and Guardians of the Galaxy, and ate at several of our favorite restaurants.  Meg was super happy that the crowds were light and encouraged us to try this week next year.  I was very glad to hear that they were having a awesome time.  It was fun to live vicariously through them these past few days.
