Planes, Trains & Automobiles

Tonight we watched IU easily beat Nebraska.  That was great after the terrible game that we played in Sunday's loss against Rutgers.  During the game, we even got to see Trayce Jackson Davis earn a triple double, one of only three in the Hoosier program history.

Since IU cannot play every night of the week and football is mostly on the weekends, we have been filling our other evenings with movies from the past.  Cameron has joined us for some and then Doug and I have just watched others on our own.  This past week we have watched Body Heat, The Taking of Pelham 123, and Blown Away.

Doug liked Body Heat the best, but my favorite "rewatchable" so far has been Planes, Trains and Automobiles.  I forgot how incredibly funny that movie really was.  In general I don't like comedies, especially when some of the scenes are extremely uncomfortable, but John Candy and Steve Martin were fantastic in it. I was really glad that Cameron watched it with us.  He liked it just as much as I did, and now if he has to travel across the country in a melted car with a man he just met, he'll be more than prepared.
