Today was an homage to our previous life in Syracuse. Doug worked in Elkhart all day. Cameron and I took Grandma and Grandpa to Chubbies for hamburger day and then played Euchre all afternoon. We got the oil changed at Woodling's (Monteith) and I ran to New Market for pop. We also had leftovers for dinner once Doug got home from work.
Alina and Cameron came over for the evening. I gave Alina her Christmas gift - gingerbread tea, shortbread cookies and the perfect Mary Poppins parrot mug. She liked them all very much. We then watched Usual Suspects with the two of them which left Alina just as confused as we were the first time we saw the film. It may not have been the most exciting day here in Syracuse, but it was definitely a fun one and a nice reminder of our life before Cameron left for IU and we moved to Ocala.
