Brett, Cam and I went to Warsaw today so that they each could get a new pair of shoes. I thought Shoe Carnival would be packed, but we were the only ones in the store. Brett bought a pair of black tennis shoes for work and Cam picked out a new pair of dress shoes as his had fallen apart. The boys chose Panda Express for lunch and we all enjoyed it. I brought half of mine home for Cal as he was busy this morning and couldn't go with us. Meg had plans with Nick, so she did not join us either. Brett, Cam and I played Exploding Kittens once we got home. It was a lot of fun.
Tonight we met Doug at Linway to watch Star Wars Rise of Skywalker. Cal had already seen it and wasn't quite sure what he thought about it. We all really liked it, but could understand his qualms about the movie as the ending wasn't quite what we wanted either. Doug, Cam and I headed home after the movie. Brett met Grandma, Grandpa, Cal and HM for the 8:20 showing of Uncut Gems. Unfortunately, it was not as good as everyone expected and Brett was the only one who could say that he enjoyed the movie. That was too bad, but at least they all had fun spending the evening together.
