Basketball Season

Even though Cameron decided not to play basketball this season, it didn't mean that he had given up on basketball completely.  In fact he left his whole night open this evening to watch the ACC/Big Ten challenge.  I was glad to hear that as last year had been a huge disappointment as far as the sport was concerned, especially with the Hoosiers.  Tonight's game was a good one to watch as IU dominated a ranked Florida State team.  Cameron's favorite Hoosier, Devonte Green, had a fantastic night scoring thirty points and hitting some NBA range three pointers.  The win put IU at 8-0 on the season.  We were all cautiously optimistic after the game as IU started off hot last season as well.  Hopefully, there will not be a repeat of that downward spiral.  Cal reminded me this summer that if IU does not make the NCAA tournament, his will be the only class to have graduated in four years without a March Madness bid.  That would truly be disappointing.
