One Tough Puzzle

We have been putting the puzzle table to good use since Doug gave it to me for my birthday.  We first used it to finish the Biltmore puzzle that we bought on our fall break trip.  This month we have been focused on IU's basketball stadium.  Both puzzles started off fairly quickly as the main areas had color schemes that made them easy to work.  After that, however, the degree of difficulty went up substantially and our progress slowed.  In fact I was concerned with both that we would not be able to complete them.  The white in the sky for the Biltmore felt like the polar bear puzzle that Brett joked about getting us and the faces in the crowd at the IU game were virtually impossible to distinguished.  Doug and I decided that nothing could be as hard as the Renoir that one he gave me several Christmases ago, so we stuck with them and today finished our second puzzle since adding the new table to our living room.   The Charlie Brown Christmas puzzle was next on our agenda, but we won't start that until Cal gets home as that was always his favorite.  Thankfully, it will be a lot easier than its predecessors.
