Today was spent getting ready for Christmas Day as the rest of the gifts were wrapped, grocery shopping lists were made and last minute items were bought. Doug took some time to work on leaves and burn all of the receipts that I had saved over the last month. Cal enjoyed catching up on the Simpsons before watching non-stop NFL games after lunch. Meg went to a birthday celebration of KeShawn's life and then to Nick's family Christmas.
Cam, Doug and I talked about going to Mad Anthony's tonight for dinner and then stopping by Center Lake to see the Christmas display. In the end we decided to stay in town and use the Chubbie's gift certificate that we received from the Leininger's. Doug was pleasantly surprised with the service, atmosphere and food. He had not been in their new dining room which was definitely a step up from eating in the bowling alley. Cal chose not to go with us, but enjoyed the hamburger that we brought back for him. In the end we added Chubbie's to the short list of places in Syracuse that we would try again on a Sunday night.
