Panda Express

Cam and I had talked for several months about trying Panda Express.  We had heard from several people that it was delicious, but we had never found a time to go.  Every other time we had been in the Warsaw/Meijer area we had picked Moe's or McAllister Deli for our meal.  We mentioned last week to my parents that we were thinking of going tonight since Doug wouldn't be home for dinner.  They agreed to ride along and shortly after we got home from school we headed out.  There were several panda jokes along the way and a lot of talk about trying a "panda leg."

The trip over was rainy and foggy and Cam and I talked about our hopes for a two hour delay in the morning.  We weren't quite sure what or how to order once we arrived, but the cashier was friendly and helpful and soon everyone had a plate of their favorite to enjoy.  My parents ordered the orange chicken and I got the string bean chicken.  Cameron tried two new dishes one with beef and the other with chicken.  He liked both of them, but preferred the chicken as it was a little bit spicier.  We each received a fortune cookie with our meal and we thoroughly enjoyed Grandpa's versions of Chinese fortunes instead of the traditional ones.  Until tonight, Cam and I never knew that your fortune cookie could read, "You have prostate cancer."  All in all, we were all pleased with our first trip to Panda Express, and hope to return again in the near future.
