Love That Smile

Today was the day that Cameron had been waiting for since April of 2018 - no more braces!!  Although we had gone two weeks ago to get impressions for his retainers, we were both sure that there would be a reason why he would have to keep the braces on for another month or two.  Thankfully, that was no the case and by 4:30 this afternoon he was brace free and in possession of two new IU retainers.

I don't know who was more excited about Cameron's new smile, me or him!  We also loved the celebration poster that the orthodontist had given to him complete with treats to enjoy.  I had a pack of gum ready for his trip home and offered to buy him Moe's to continue the celebration.   He ate his burrito on the way home remarking several times how weird it felt to eat without getting food stuck in his braces.  He definitely thought it was worth skipping the last two holes of golf at Black Squirrel in order to get to his appointment on time.  I was just so pleased to have finished the process and loved the new smile that he was sporting.
