All season long we have been encouraging Cameron to shoot more in his basketball games. Although he plays fantastic defense and has made some phenomenal passes to his teammates this year, he has been reluctant to shoot. Not only have we been encouraging him, but his teammates, coaches and even the fans have been telling him to shoot more. Tonight he finally got that he elusive basket to fall. He caught a tough pass down low and instead of looking to pass, he put the shot up and scored easily. Mom and I were excited to have witnessed it. The best part was that I happened to catch it on film. Therefore, I could send it to Doug and Grandpa Cutes as they both had commitments tonight and missed the big moment. His teammates instantly broke into cheer and hugged him at mid-court. It was so much fun to witness, and although Bethany eventually lost to LCA, it didn't matter to us. We were too happy for Cam to pay attention to the score tonight.
