Ok, so we didn't have to go to a football game this Friday night, but we did spend our evening watching Cameron's team play under the bright lights of the Millersburg gym. There were a couple of fun moments on the court, but overall it wasn't too exciting as Bethany lost by ten. As soon as the game was over we all headed to our house for a night of cards, games and food. We started with "Oh Hell" where I finally redeemed my poor play of last week and ended with Euchre. Dinner consisted of nachos, meatballs, a cheese tray, gherkins and more. Mom even made monster cookies for dessert.
Cameron didn't want to play too late as he had a chess tournament in the morning. He finished the night as the big winner in Euchre. Meg did not join us until later in the evening. The senior class had a movie night at Bethany where they watched Home Alone and enjoyed a hot chocolate bar. She and Nick arrived while we were still playing cards. They watched a movie before he left for home. I spent some time catching up with on her day before finally calling it a night well after midnight.
