Cameron and I spent the day packing everything that he would need for college into the Pilot and the van. Doug planned on leaving from work tomorrow and Cameron and I would drive separately after the Jimtown v. Bethany tennis match. We had never taken two vehicles for move-in day before, but since the van was staying with Cameron, we needed the Pilot for the return trip home. It was definitely easy to fit everything in both with room to even take the futon. Cameron's roommate had sent a picture of their dorm room. We weren't sure that the futon would fit, but thought that it would be worth trying.
We finished packing earlier than we had thought, so the three of us decided to go to one last favorite restaurant of Cameron's, Mad Anthony's. We hadn't been there in quite some time and really enjoyed the food. Cameron made fun of me once again for always asking if the dip for the Scooby Snacks is blue cheese, even thought it never has been. I didn't mind as I was just happy to have one more meal out before he left. It was a gloomy day and the weather matched my mood. It was hard to believe that Cameron was leaving for college tomorrow. I was excited for him, but sad nonetheless. He was ready, however, so I tried not to ruin the mood and instead we filled the meal with talk about Bloomington and how good the Lions were going to be this year. The last topic brought a lot of debate between Cameron and Doug which helped make the night all that more better. Overall, it was a nice way to end a bittersweet day.
