Grandma and Grandpa had asked Cameron multiple times to go to Chubbies with them for lunch this summer. They hadn't been able to co-ordinate their plans until today. I was very happy that they invited me along, and Cameron was even able to make it work with Alina's schedule. She had never eaten at the famed bowling restaurant. Once we found out that Nick had never been there either, Grandma and Grandpa invited he and Meg to go along as well.
Chubbies' daily special was their tenderloin sandwich. Meg was the only one to order something different with Nick and Alina trying the sandwich for the first time. The food was very good and the atmosphere was way better than I remembered. Everyone talked about their plans for the week, the start of Meg's new job, Alina's upcoming first day of school at Bethany and Cameron's move to Bloomington. It was an awesome way to spend an afternoon and we all enjoyed it very much. Besides the fun of hanging out with everyone, one of the best parts for me was that Grandpa paid. I really appreciated that as we had made plans to eat out quite a bit during Cameron's last full week before college.
