One of the added bonuses of Meg and Nick dating has been the relationship that Nick has developed with her brothers. Nick has especially spent a lot of time with Brett this past year as he was in Bloomington a lot after he graduated in December. They have enjoyed video game nights and hanging out with Brett's friends.
This week, Brett and Nick made plans to go to King's Island together. They both enjoy amusement parks, so it was the perfect activity for them to do together. Nick hadn't been able to travel a lot since he started his new job in Illinois, so he was especially happy for the time away from work.
I was glad to hear that they had planned this adventure together. King's Island had been one of my favorite amusement parks growing up and I know that the Heinisch family enjoyed it as well. Whether the park was Nickelodeon themed or filled with Peanuts characters, we loved it all - the Scooby Doo Ghost Catcher, the Kite Eating Tree, Swiper's Sweepers, the Pirate Boat were just a few of the rides that were on repeat in our family. I can't wait to hear all about their trip this summer.
