Today was a busy day for the Heinisch children at home. Cam had tennis practice. Afterward he went to the boys' soccer scrimmage and then brought Joey home with him for the rest of the weekend. The boys had a lot of fun playing games inside and out. The basketball court saw a lot of action as did the basement. Cal joined them in the backyard for awhile, tossing the football around. They also enjoyed the brats that Doug grilled and topped dinner off with dessert from Joe's with Meg.
While Cam was busy with Joey, Meg hung out with Kaitlin. They started at her house spending time on the lake and ended at ours talking about their move to college next week. Cal had fun tonight as well going to dinner with Hannah-Marie and stopping by home afterward. Since everyone was busy, Doug and I invited my parents down to play cards. They had attended my Mom's alumni banquet first and had stories to share once they arrived. All in all, it was a relaxing Saturday in the Heinisch home, one that we all enjoyed.
