Last Day

Today was Nick's last day of summer as he leaves for Purdue tomorrow morning.  Since Meg had been at camp for the majority of the summer, they tried to get in as much fun this past week as time would allow.  They went to the movie Lion King, ate at several of their favorite restaurants, visited the Toledo Zoo, hung out with friends, and spent a day at Deep River Water Park.  Although they had been used to being apart from Meg's time as a camp counselor, they were both sad tonight when they said goodbye.  As hard as it was to part, Nick stated several times tonight that he was ready.  He had packed, met his roommate and wanted to get started on all that college had to offer.  We wished him well at Purdue and planned to see him when he visits Meg on Labor Day weekend.  Starting tomorrow we will begin helping Meg get ready for her departure next week.
