Bloomington Bound

Meg and I spent the day getting the last minute items done for her trip to Bloomington.  We were pleasantly surprised with how much we could fit in the van.  I saw a picture of a room at Read this week and they definitely looked smaller than I had remembered.  Hopefully, we can fit everything in that she would like to have.

Doug got home at 3:40 and we were ready to go.  The trip down took longer than normal as there was heavy traffic on US 31 and several downpours.  We made it, however, before 8 p.m.  Brett had just gotten home from a meeting at church.  We unloaded the items we had for him and the bags we brought for ourselves.  Even with those out of the van, we still had to take Brett's car to dinner.  Mother Bear's was a lot less crowded than we thought it would be and we were seated within ten minutes.  The pizza was good as always.  Brett and Doug stayed after the meal to finish their beers.  Meg and I walked to her dorm so that she could get her bearings.  She felt a lot more comfortable after that.

Once we got back to Brett's, Meg FaceTimed Nick.  He was proud of his newfound laundry skills. Doug, Brett and I spent the rest of the evening on his deck.  He has an awesome apartment and we really appreciate him letting us stay there on our frequent visits.
