Another day, another rain out for both tennis and golf. This weather has been so incredibly frustrating. It's tough to get anything done outside, the golf course has been closed more days than ever before, and now it has greatly affected the spring sports season, especially tennis. Since the season is close to the end, we really aren't even sure if they will be able to make up the matches. With all of the delays and cancellations, we also found out that Tippy Valley dropped us to make up a conference match and the contest with Westview scheduled for Friday has been moved to Tuesday of next week. This means that Meg will not have any matches this week. She is extremely disappointed about that as she loves playing tennis. Unfortunately, there just isn't much that can be done about it.
Cam and Meg went to Grandma's for dinner after finding out that they would not have any activities tonight. Doug and I went to the Frog for half price pizza night. The predicted rain came down in buckets while we were eating. Cam was positive that we would have a flood delay tomorrow. That would be ok with me, but Cam has a tennis match scheduled after school. I was hoping that this weather would subside at least long enough for him to get in one tennis match this week.
