Finally, Some Tennis

Tonight Cameron finally got to play in a middle school tennis match.  It was against Goshen Middle School, but was played at Goshen College as their courts were ripped up.  Cam started off slow and found himself quickly down 4-1.  I was surprised as he had been playing very well in his league at Warsaw.  Thus, I didn't think he'd have much of a problem tonight.  His coach talked to him about strategy during the break and it helped a lot.  Cam was able to turn his game around and although he didn't win, he played a lot better and made it a much closer match.  Ultimately, middle school tennis is a learning experience for high school.  Cam will definitely be prepared for his freshmen season.  We are looking forward to watching him play.
