It was a miserable afternoon here which cancelled Cam's golf match at Christiana Creek. I was sad that he wouldn't be able to play, but glad that I didn't have to walk along in forty degree, rainy weather. Instead of practice for Meg, they all went to the assistant coach's house for team bonding which included pints of ice cream from The Chief. Meg said that she loved tennis practice the best of the three sports that she played in high school. I could definitely see why.
Without a golf match to attend we had a quiet night here at home. Cam, Doug and I watched Escape From Alcatraz. The movie was filmed in 1979 and it was amazing to see how much the prison looked exactly as it does now. Our next goal was to get Birdman From Alcatraz, a Burt Lancaster movie set in the 1950s. Cameron was reading a book about Robert Stroud and the movie outlined his life. Meg got home around ten. She went to JoJo's with a group from tennis after "practice." They had a lot of fun and hoped to get together again soon.
