Palm Sunday

We all went to 11 a.m. mass for the traditional Palm Sunday service.  It was a nice way to start the day with Meg as narrator and Cam an altar server.  Doug ushered as well, so the majority of the mass it was just Nick and I in the pew.  Mass ran later than normal, so we were pushing it to get to Cam's tennis match.  Doug and I were impressed with how well Cam handled his opponent's serve.  It was one of the hardest we had seen in someone that age.  Cam did lose, but he was able to win several games and gained a lot of experience along the way.

While we were in Warsaw, Meg and Nick hung out with with Grandma and Grandpa at our house.  Grandma made everyone chicken and noodles.  They left for Nick's after we got back.  They had a spaghetti dinner to go to and Nick's graduation invitation to complete.  Doug and I spent the rest of the afternoon watching the Masters.   We had taped it and didn't finish it until well after dark.  Cal kept texting us towards the end as he was pretty excited that Tiger won his fifteenth major, especially after all of his health issues.  It had been almost a dozen years since his last one.  I talked to Cal later in the evening.  He was extremely happy with his weekend - Little 5, the Masters, and the new season of Game of Thrones made it a success. Brett also had a wonderful weekend after resting from his interview on Friday.  He celebrated with lunch at Cafe Pizzeria, went to the comic book store, worked on some school projects, caught up on job applications and went to Sean's for a Game of Thrones feast.
