Good Friday

For the first time in almost a dozen years, Doug had Good Friday off from work.  He celebrated by sleeping in until 9 a.m. which was completely unexpected.  During the afternoon he and I went grocery shopping while Cam was at golf practice.  We decided to try and make wings this weekend as a dry run for graduation open house.  Doug also picked up food for Easter dinner.  We also stopped at Staples while we were out shopping.  I wanted to print Brett's graduation announcement and our card stock wasn't thick enough.  I was relieved that they had exactly what I needed.  We then had time to check out Goshen Brewing Company before picking up Cameron at Black Squirrel.  He was very happy with his 44.

We spent the evening at home.  Nick visited and watched movies with Meg.  Cal finally made it home at 9:15 p.m.  He had gotten stuck in traffic on the way.  Thankfully, he was able to drop Brett off at an interview at Oliver Winery before he left town.  With all that Brett had going on this weekend he opted out of a trip north.  He did text us later to let us know that his interview went well.  One of his friends picked him up afterward and they went to Joella's for dinner.  Doug made dinner for the rest of us here, firing up the grill for brats.  We were happy that everyone had an enjoyable evening.
