The Chicago Heinischs

While the four of us were busy in Bloomington, Cal and Meg enjoyed a weekend in Chicago.  Both had to work on Saturday, but were able to make the most of it once they were done.  Cal enjoyed a night with friends, hung out with Maggie, watched an interesting movie, and took a couple of long walks.  The weather had been a lot warmer than expected in the Windy City and he definitely benefitted from some rare sunshine.

Meg spent Saturday night at the Disney Expo with Nick.  They weren't sure if they wanted to go at first, but really liked it.  I loved all of the pictures they shared.  On Sunday, Nick's parents visited and they all went to the Science and Industry Museum together.  Meg was sad that she and Cameron couldn't recreate their "cow" picture, but otherwise had a great time.  She talked about the U-Boat exhibit the most and thought that next time they picked a place to visit in Chicago, she would go back to the Field Museum.  That was her favorite growing up.

Even though we couldn't be with Cal and Meg, I was happy that they each had a wonderful weekend.  I missed them in Bloomington, but know that the next time I visit the midwest, I should be able to see them both.  That will be very nice.
