Brett called today after work to let me know that he would be receiving the largest commission check that he has earned since he started at Storage Express. That along with the raise he got last week and the overtime that he had been putting in would make for some nice payouts on Friday. He was super excited as he'd be able to put another $1000 into savings and another $1000 on his CR-V loan. I was definitely happy for him and impressed with how hard he had been working. Since the coworker in his department would not be returning until next month, he thought that there would be some more big checks to come.
Although Brett and I both read good reviews about Storage Express before he accepted the position last July, neither of us realized just how good of a job it would be. Brett said that his supervisor also didn't realize just how strong of an employee he would be as well. He had received excellent marks at his yearly review last week and overall just felt wonderful about his current career. I couldn't be happier for him.
