Let the Games Begin

Tonight was a preview for Cameron's tennis team as they had a scrimmage at Angola.  Meg and I were a few in attendance to watch.  Cameron played the number one singles position and we were impressed with how well he did.  He won 2 of his 3 matches and 12 out of the 19 games that he played.  His serve had improved quite a bit since last year as did his shot selection and the pace that he put on the ball.  He was pleased with his performance and I enjoyed relaying the news to Doug.

I appreciated Meg riding along with me tonight.  She had been in West Lafayette most of the week and it was fun to catch up with her.  On the way home we debated about who would have won if Cal as a junior played Cam as a junior.  Meg thought that it would have been Cal as he was a little more intimidating as a player on the court.  Cam felt that it would have been him as he had better ground strokes.  I thought that it was too close to call.  Either way, it would have been fun to watch.
