While we were enjoying time with Brett this weekend, including multiple games of Ticket to Ride this afternoon, everyone else in the Heinisch family was having fun as well. Cameron not only hung out with us, but with his friends as well, getting together last night for dinner at Jordan's and tonight to study at Richard's. They even took an ice cream study break at the Chief.
Meg spent her weekend with several different sets of friends along with working at Bell Trace and starting on her internship applications. We talked to her multiple times today in order to help her fine tune her resume so she could send it out to several companies. She got so much accomplished that she and Nick were able to get together for dinner tonight.
Cal called yesterday to check in on us. He had enjoyed an evening out with friends celebrating one of their girlfriend's birthdays. Today, he and Jayce played golf against two of Jayce's co-workers. Cal said that it wasn't his best round with six doubles and a triple for an 85. Thankfully, it was still good enough for he and Jayce to win the match.
After a busy weekend it was a quiet Sunday night for Doug and I. It had rained enough to bring the temperatures down a bit. We appreciated that and spent the evening enjoying the front porch, glad to know that everyone else in the Heinisch family had had a wonderful weekend as well.
