Throughout this summer Brett, Cal and Cameron have spent quite a bit of time hanging out with their friends. Meg and I haven't been able to say the same. She was busy with summer school and I had commitments at home to finish first. Thankfully, this week all of that changed. I first spent Tuesday morning with Paula on a long walk through Oakwood and along the WACF trail. It was wonderful to catch up with her and made the almost five mile trek seem like nothing. Today I met Paula and Mary at Oakwood for lunch. We spent almost three hours talking and sharing our summer adventures. It was enjoyable way to spend an afternoon.
Meg has been enjoying her time on summer break with friends as well. So far she has seen Kaitlin, Rachael and Gabby. In addition Nick also invited all of their Bethany friends to his Aunt's lake house tomorrow night. Therefore, by the end of the week she will have had a chance to catch up with everyone that she wanted to except for Phillip as he remains in D.C. on an internship. All in all it has been a great week for hanging out with friends
