Today Doug resigned his position as member of the Kosciusko County Council. I had written a blog about it as I was proud of his dedication to service and wanted to share that. Brett had the same idea as he wanted to write a letter to the editor about his dad as well. Doug really wanted to remain low key about his resignation, so I decided that I would just post the article that was printed in the Warsaw Times Union to commemorate the day and Brett saved his letter for another time. To those of us in the Heinisch family, Doug will always be the hardest working, most dedicated person that we have ever known. It's ok if we don't share that with everyone.
