Cameron has gotten home close to 10 p.m. almost every night this week and it doesn't look like his schedule will slow down anytime soon. On Tuesday he had a golf match against Lakeland. He was hitting the ball well going into it and had decided that he wanted to try only having Doug come to watch. He thought that might help his mental game. I was glad that he chose to try something new as he hadn't been playing his best during matches and I know that it was frustrating to him. His plan worked well as he finished the night with a 41. He had only one bad hole, number five, with two balls out of bounds. He was proud of the fact that he rebounded well even after taking the maximum double par on that hole. He ended the evening by attending Aaron's senior night and then hanging out with Sam, Richard and Avery at Sam's house afterward.
Tonight, he, Richard and Sam went to Buffalo Wild Wings in Goshen. They had a lot of fun together, enjoyed their food and spent an hour afterward just talking in Cam's car. Thursday night, Cameron plans to be home, so he had me pick up the ingredients for Brazilian cheese bread. They had made it in Spanish class this week and wanted all of us to try it too.
On Friday night Cameron is planning on spending the night at Sam's so that he can go to his triathlon in Fort Wayne with Sam's family. When he gets home Saturday he is heading straight to Theo's open house. Then on Sunday he will play a practice round for sectionals at Meadowvalley. We are glad that Cam's taking advantage of all of the social activities offered him. If it's anything like this week, he should have a fun summer.
