Doug just returned from a nine day business trip to Ocala in which work was the dominant theme. He said that April would be an extremely busy month for him and it definitely started out that way. He spent almost every evening after work in his hotel room on his computer. He did find some time to work out with Team Body Project and to see his Dad for lunch, but overall he was "busy, busy, dreadfully busy" as the Veggie Tales song sang out. As much as we missed him, I realized that if he was home it would have been much of the same - head down, working. I also knew that he would still have quite a bit to do these next couple of weeks, but that didn't matter to me. Cameron and I did a great job of staying busy and making our own meals, but we were ready to have him home instead of talking to him on the phone. There will be more trips for Doug in the near future, but there should be less that include weekend stays. I was very glad to hear that.
