Bethany was able to host its biannual fish fry today as a carry out only event. At first Cameron wasn't too excited about working it as he would have to miss golf practice. In the end, however, he had so much fun that he was definitely glad to have participated. Cameron was chosen to be a section head this year and shadowed a junior with the same position. They helped with traffic which ended up being a fairly busy job. They had to weave the line through the parking lot and out around the tennis courts. Even with that they still had cars backed up all the way to the Goshen hospital. Doug got to see him at work as he waited thirty-five minutes for our fish. The dinner was good as always, but we decided that next year we would pick it up around 7 p.m. instead of 4:30. Cameron said that they only had one car every five minutes by then. Either way, Cameron really enjoyed the night and had a lot of fun with his friends at Culver's afterward.
Meg left this morning so she wasn't able to relive her high school days at the fish fry. She said that she and Sarah had done enough of that last night as they went to Walmart, walked along the bike path behind Bethany and ordered BW's for dinner. Even though it was a short trip home and Meg was busy studying, we really enjoyed having her here and look forward to her return in May.
