A Quiet Spring Break

So many memories popped up on my phone this past week of all of the spring break trips that we had taken over the years.  Boston, Washington D.C., Florida and Texas were just a few of the places that we had visited.  The pictures were fun to look at and I was amazed at how many trips that we had taken in the spring time.  A long trip wasn't in the cards for the Heinisch family this spring break.  Due to Doug's work schedule and Cam's desire to play golf our spring break was to be spent in Indiana this year.

Even though it was low key and Doug spent the majority of Cameron's break in Ocala, we did still have a wonderful week.  It was nice to spend three days in Bloomington for Easter weekend before Doug left.  We always have fun going hiking, enjoying outdoor dining and seeing Meg and Brett.  I felt like God smiled on our area the rest of break as the weather was absolutely gorgeous.  Cameron played golf every day either with his team, with his grandparents or on his own at Maxwelton.  He also got to play endless games of driveway basketball and watch the masters.  We played more Euchre this week than we had in the entire year of 2020 and we found one of our old favorites on Paramount +, Ned's Declassified to watch.  We also took care of some important medical needs as I made it to my second vaccine appointment and Cam was able to catch up on a much overdue physical.  Overall, it was a nice, relaxing week that we both hated to see end.
