This first of our Thanksgiving visitors arrived tonight when Meg pulled in the driveway close to 9 p.m. It was a little later than she had planned due to traffic delays, but she was happy none the less. She would have ten days off from studying with only a fun podcast to produce about the Beatles while she was home. Meg was also happy to announce that she had done very well on her accounting test this afternoon, scoring an 87 which was higher than the class average.
Cameron, Meg and I spent several hours catching up on everything that had happened since we were last together. Cameron told Meg about his trip to Florida and she talked about the fun that she had been having with her friends. They talked about their shared friends at Bethany and what had been going on at the high school this semester. We also found out that Meg's favorite part of the Festivus celebration would have been the "airing of grievances." Meg and Cameron went over their individual and shared plans for the week ahead with both looking forward to the Thanksgiving holiday. It was a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season.
