Part of being a direct admit of the Kelley School of Business meant that Meg had to take an introductory class on business. She started it last week and quickly found herself behind the eight ball. It was harder than she thought it would be and she misread the directions which led to her missing several of homework assignments. Thankfully, I caught her error and we were able to formulate a plan to help her get caught up.
After Meg's orthodontist appointment this morning we came straight home so that she could work on her class. She spent the next several hours catching up on the work that she had overlooked. It was hard getting it all done without much of a break, but she did get everything completed except for one minor assignment that she will complete tonight. She also had time to shower, eat and rest for a little bit before heading back. She made plans for the rest of the week to finish week 3 assignments and to start on her research paper. It's not due until August 3rd, but it will take some time to complete. I was still nervous for her, but she felt a lot better about it. I was glad to hear that. Thankfully, week three focuses on finance which Meg has the perfect teacher at home to help her with that.
