A Busy Thirty-Six Hours

After Cameron's golf tournament yesterday, we flew home as fast as we could so that he could get ready for his afternoon with Bailee.  They had made plans to see the Lion King together and to hang out at the Electric Brew afterward.  For awhile I wasn't sure that I would be able to get him to Goshen in time.  The twosome that he was paired with were extremely slow and holes three through five were backed up at least three groups deep.  We knew that we had to leave Chestnut Hills by 1:30 for him to be there on time and thankfully, he was able to finish, turn in his scorecard and hop in the Pilot by 1:24.

Cam really enjoyed the movie.  He said that it was a lot like the animated version with songs and characters, but he liked the live action one better.  Avery's family picked him up at 7:15 from the Brew, so that he could spend the night at their house.  Avery and Cam played games and hung out for the rest of the evening.  Today they spent the afternoon at the Elkhart County Fair, riding rides, visiting Joey in the beef barn and eating Spanish candy.  He had a great time, but by the time I picked him up at 5:45, he was absolutely exhausted.  Fortunately, the rest of the night was a quiet one for him.
