Doug, Cam and Cal met Dan and Cole early in the morning for nine holes at Buena Vista. They were tired, but had a lot of fun. On the way back to the hotel they stopped at Carl's to see his townhome. By the time they got back Meg, Brett and I had eaten breakfast, had everything packed and were ready to start for home.
Traffic was light on the way home, so we made it back in plenty of time to watch the PGA. Cal was thrilled that Tiger was playing well. For awhile it even looked like he was going to win. In the end he couldn't catch the leader and finished second. Cal was happy with that as the return of Tiger Woods has made golf a lot more exciting.
My parents came up for dinner and to watch the last few holes. As soon as golf was over they left with Brett, Cal, Cam and I for the Christopher Robin movie. As Winnie the Pooh fans we had talked about seeing it all summer, but wanted to wait until Brett got back. It was well worth the wait. We all enjoyed the characters, especially Ewan McGregor as Christopher Robin and Brad Garrett as Eeyore. Cal did say that he could have used some more Tigger in it, but overall it was the perfect way to end his summer break.
