An Active Day

Cal and Cam both had golf tournaments today and were happy with their results.  Cam started off slow, but rebounded well once he birdied number eight.  Another birdie on the back nine with a chip in put him at 87 and in third place.  He was definitely happy and Mom and I were impressed as they played off the whites today at Meadow Valley.  Cal played with Dad today representing the town of Syracuse in the chamber outing.  They faired even better with a 22 under, first place finish.  Cal was pleased with the win and his eagle on seven.

Meg arrived home tonight in time to hear all of their golf stories.  She added in her own basketball stories to the mix and for the next hour or so our house was filled with the Heinisch children's tales of the past few days.  Meg was happy to be home so that she could rest, and also pleased with how camp went.  The basketball was secondary to the dance-offs, ice cream runs and "beach" attire.  She did make it to dinner with Cam, Doug and I before meeting up with Gabby and Kat at Joe's, but once she got back she headed to bed ready to catch up on her sleep.
