An Easy Professional Headshot

Cameron told me last week that he needed to have a professional headshot taken for his Business Compass class.  He asked for suggestions, but I wasn't much help.  Brett did not need one in SPEA.  Cal had his friend Evan take his, and Meg used one from a group project.  Cameron said that he remembered seeing a flyer in the business school that had a recommendation for taking the required photographs.  He was going to check it out and let me know.

The next day, I saw three new pictures on our camera roll that fulfilled Cameron's headshot requirement and looked very nice.  I asked him later how he had gotten them taken.  He said that there was a photo booth in the Ernie Pyle hall that was specifically used for professional portraits.  It was set up like the photo booths that started in the 1980s.  I remembered those well, having so much taking pictures with friends while shopping at the Concord Mall.  The one at IU currently was a little bit nicer than what we had over thirty years ago.  This one had a white background, a professional camera, and even gave recommendations on how to pose.  I was impressed not only with the quality of the pictures, but the advancement in technology and the ease of Cameron being able to solve his problem.  He did it all with very little inconvenience to his schedule, only spent $5 and had some very nice pictures to share.
