We left at four this afternoon for Bloomington. My parents had just arrived back as we were heading out. They had greatly enjoyed visiting with Meg and Brett. Cal was in West Lafayette while they were in town, but they didn't mind missing him since they spent time with him last weekend when he was home. I was happy to be going today as I wasn't sure on Wednesday that I'd be able to handle the drive. Thankfully, traffic was light and we were in B-town by 7:30.
Doug, Cam and I headed to Mother Bear's for dinner. Meg was busy with Nick and her friends tonight, Brett had to work, and Cal was studying, so it was just the three of us. That didn't bother us as we've always told them that they were invited to all that we do when we're here, but shouldn't feel obligated to join us if they had other plans. We were seated fairly quickly and ordered our favorite pizza, Polly Pine Nuts, named after Cal's favorite Soprano's character. We were able to enjoy our food and stop by Kroger before Brett got home from work. He had had a busy day and was glad to unwind tonight. We first played Ticket to Ride and then watched some Law & Order making it a relaxing night for all.
