Today was the worst day of the year at school. It started off that way and continued through to the end of the day. I was not quite sure what had happened as I felt we had an awesome end of trimester two and was looking forward to the last trimester of the year. There were several different items that led to a challenging day - None of which I could control. I was definitely exhausted by the time I got home.
It was quiet here until 5:30 when Doug and Cam got home from chess. Meg was just ahead of them as she stayed until 4:30 for basketball conditioning. Cam was feeling awful by the time he got here. His nose was stuffed up, his head hurt and his throat felt as though it was closing. He tried some DayQuil and his inhaler. They helped enough for him to make it through dinner, but he didn't pep up like he normally does. Before he headed to bed we decided that we would wake him up in the morning to see what he thought about school. He had ISTEP first thing and we didn't want to force him to go if he didn't think he could make it through. He and I were both in bed early, hoping for some sleep and a better day tomorrow.
