Meg arrived early this afternoon happy to be home for a few days. She had an orthodontist and a dentist appointment scheduled for Monday, but most of all was glad for a break from school. She spent the afternoon catching up with Cameron, Doug and I. Meg also went to 5 p.m. mass with us. It was nice to go to church. With Doug traveling, we hadn't been in awhile. I also appreciated that it was a light crowd and we pretty much had the pew to ourselves.
Meg left right after church for Nick's. His parents had sold their home in Goshen with plans to move to the farm. Meg was a little sad that it would be her last time in his house, but was glad that they had no problem selling it. Once Meg got home she made us "Dirty Shirley Temples", which was Grenadine mixed with Cherry Vodka and Sprite Zero. They were a little too sweet for me, but fun to try. Cameron stuck with the normal Shirley Temple. It was fun having Meg home and we're looking forward to spending more time with her over the next two days.
