Tonight Cam went with the boys tennis team after school to watch their number one doubles team play in the second round of the individual tennis sectional against Northridge. He had fun with his teammates even the outcome wasn't what that had wanted. He rode the bus back to Bethany afterward and then headed straight to the boys' sectional game. He enjoyed that as well and for the second night in a row made his dinner out of snacks at the concession stand.
While Cam was watching Bethany beat Central Noble 4-0, Doug and I had a nice dinner at Huntington St. With the beautiful weather in September we had been choosing Oakwood for our evenings out, but due to the mosquito scare and the cooler nights we have decided to dine inside. I enjoyed spending time with Doug and listening to his current projects at work. We also had time to plan for our weekend trip to Bloomington and several upcoming family vacations. Meg and I had spent quite a bit of time today working out the details of a Spring Break trip to Florida. With the holidays coming up, fall break at the Biltmore, a Disney trip in January, a possible visit to Atlanta and now Florida on the horizon, I was really excited about our plans for the next six months.
