Zoo Day

Meg, Cam and I make our annual pilgrimage to the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo today.  The weather was perfect for our visit, which was also probably why it was crowded.  That didn't damper our mood and we had a lot of fun touring the exhibits.  We started in the Africa area and Cam and Meg rode the sky ride as always.  We saw a guinea fowl for the first time.  It was definitely different than any other bird that we had seen before.

Our next stops were all in Asia, visiting the rain forest, the orangutans, and tigers.  We rode the log flume in Australia and then stopped for a snack.  Cam and Meg opted out of the train ride and instead walked through the farm.  The animals all looked cute, but no one was interested in petting the goats. We decided on a late lunch at Noodles & Company.  I had a great time with the youngest Heinisch's today and was incredibly thankful that they enjoyed it as well.
