Round Barn Golf Tournament

Dad, Cam and I left at 8 a.m. this morning for Cam's first golf tournament of the season.  Cam and Dad had played at the Round Barn yesterday and felt confident that Cam would do well.  He started off on fire parring the first five holes.  I was impressed and nervous.  The next four were a little bit more challenging, but Cam still finished with a 41.  Although I gave him grief for being boring, shooting another 41, I was very happy for him.  He had played very well.

Cam started the back much as the front parring the first hole.  His scores were a little more erratic, however, with some pars and bogeys.  He did have a birdie and the unfortunate double bogey.  In the end, he once again shot a 41.  Although boring, the 82 did put him in third place until the last group finished.  Cam knew it would be tough to be one of the boys in the last foursome.  He was correct and in the end finished fourth out of nineteen.  Dad and I were extremely proud of him, but most importantly he was proud of himself.
