Cam invited Joey to come over tonight after tennis practice. They hadn't seen each other since school got out. They had fun catching up, playing basketball and touring the neighborhood. They had talked about cooking hamburgers on the grill, but opted for pizza instead. Cam had wanted Joey to spend the night, but he had to get up before 7 a.m. to work with his 4-H steer, so they decided to do that another time.
Meg picked up Jackie at Bethany around 3:30 and they headed to Michaels. They went to buy string to make friendship bracelets and came home with painting supplies as well. Since Jackie has not been able to play sports due to her concussion they wanted to find crafts that she could do this summer instead. They both had fun painting and did a nice job on their boards. The last stop of the night for them was Joe's.
Doug and I went to the Frog for half price pizza night. It will be our last visit for awhile. The wait staff has changed and the clientele has not been the same as the winter crowd. The pizza hasn't been the best either, so it's time to take a break. We ended the evening with a bonfire. It has finally warmed up and dried out enough to be outside. That's a welcome change.
