Cameron and I were so exited last night that we had made it to his Spring Break. A month ago it felt as though we would never make it. March had been one of the longest months ever, especially with the dreary weather. It was nice to know that we could sleep in this week and travel to a few places in the midwest that Cameron had wanted to visit without killing ourselves. Cameron would also be able to play golf and hang out with his friends for part of the week as well.
Cameron spent his first afternoon of Spring Break at the golf course practicing his chipping and putting. Alina rode back to our house with him. They played pool, looked at pictures for Cameron's graduation slide show and watched the first Captain Underpants movie as she had never seen it. Doug made spaghetti for everyone and then we all played Skip Bo. After Alina left for home, Doug and I watched The Quiet Man while Cameron enjoyed some much needed free time. Overall, it was a wonderful, relaxing first day of Spring Break.
