This morning everyone in Northern Indiana was bummed to see more snow in the forecast. February had been incredibly mild and everyone was hoping for an early spring. Even Cameron's golf coach texted us to bring back warm weather with us. Unfortunately that wouldn't be soon enough to change today's weather, and although the snow melted off of the roads, it stayed around long enough to move the first official golf practice of the season inside.
Cameron was bummed, but did have fun putting around the school with his teammates. He is excited about the season and hopeful that they will be outside later this week to work on their chipping at Black Squirrel's putting green. My secret hope is that the miserable March weather will bring sunshine and warmer temperatures in April and May. It has been a long time since we have had a warm weather for the first few weeks of golf matches. Maybe this will be the year for it. If not, we will still have a lot of fun watching Cameron in the last Heinisch high school sports season ever.
